Open Mic/Jam Session

Re-introducing open mic night!

After some soul searching we’ve decided to hold Open mic on a separate night from Karaoke. Both seem popular enough to deserve their own night each month.

Open mic will now be held every 2nd Sunday of the month.

The format will be much the same, but with a bit more space and time for performers to express themselves, try out new material and we will likely round off the night with an open jam session.

All performances welcome, not just music. We’ve had poetry, storytelling and comedy in sessions past and we welcome more of this!!

All abilities welcome too. There are some experienced musicians out there, and we’d love you to come play and show the newbies how it’s done. If you’ve never performed outside of your bedroom we’d love to hear from you too!

Expect a very laid back and welcoming environment. It will be pretty informal, there’s no need to book, but if you’d like to play we’d love to hear from you in advance.
